HOUNDS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION
UPDATES COMING SOON!

All of the wonderful dogs in this album are ready for permanent homes.

What Makes a Graced Hound?

• All of our dogs have been in one or more foster homes, and the average time from rescue to placement is longer than most. We don’t rush them through to placement, but rather make sure they’re well socialized and prepared for a wider range of permanent home environments.

• Many of our Hounds are retrieved from the field (versus from a shelter). While this work is often more time consuming, we have an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the challenges he/she faced, and are better able to assist them with their transition into a home.

• We spare no expense to ensure that each dog receives the very best professional care,

and is as healthy as possible, both medically and behaviorally.

• We know our Hounds, both generally and each in our care. This means we are uniquely able to support the adoption process, offer suggestions for introduction into his/her new home, set realistic expectations vis-à-vis the transition,

and are available to help if challenges arise at any point in the future.

Our Hounds are fully vetted and we commonly find homes for them out-of-state.

A Health Certificate for transport can be issued immediately upon adoption or rescue group transfer commitment.

We prefer a "foster-to-adopt" arrangement; this gives our dogs time to settle into their new home before a final commitment is made.

Please note: Hounds have a unique style of play. When we describe a dog as being “playful”, we’re saying it’s important that the dog have a play companion with a compatible style of play. Most require at least one companion, or playmate, fenced yards are always preferred, and regular "adventures" (nature walks, visits to the dog park, car trips, etc.) are highly recommended for all our Hounds.
